You wanted to come to the Zen Garden Courtyard but the weather didn’t cooperate? You still are out in the world and not able to practice social distancing because you’re an essential worker? We can bring the acupuncture TO YOU…right in your own vehicle, while safely parked outside the office.
We started this back in March before the PAUSE order was issued after a patient had a (non-COVID related) trip to the ER and needed to be seen but wasn’t cleared to come INSIDE the office. She needed care and it wasn’t warm enough outside yet to spend 45-60 minutes out there. She rolled down her windows, opened the doors, turned her luxurious heated seats on and all the way back and down and was able to receive a full acupuncture session while wearing PPE for safety.
Today we offered this again. It was rainy off and on and the patient was scheduled for a courtyard session but the drizzle was not letting up. So, we just did the same thing and it was a big success.
Now we are officially offering “Drive Thru Acupuncture” in the comfort of your own vehicle. It may not be conventional but it’s working really nicely and we hope to continue to offer this as a way to keep everyone safe AND cared for.
